Developer API plans, allowances and rate limits

Your plan decides three things: how many calls you can make a month, how many a minute, and which groups of endpoints you can call. The current plans and prices are on the Developers page under Plans.

The plans

- Sandbox is free and has test keys only. By default it allows 1,000 calls a month and 10 a minute; the plan card shows the current numbers. - Paid plans add live keys, a bigger allowance and a higher per minute limit. Prices are shown on each plan card. If you only see the sandbox, paid plans are not open yet and the page says so.

Every plan card lists its endpoint groups, for example Clubs, coaches, events and destinations or Bookings for guests. Calling an endpoint your plan does not include returns 403 endpoint_not_in_plan.

Monthly allowance

All your keys, live and test, share one allowance. On the sandbox it resets at the start of each calendar month; on a paid plan it follows your billing period. Every answer carries:

- X-Quota-Limit: your monthly allowance - X-Quota-Remaining: calls left - X-Quota-Reset: when it resets

When the allowance runs out you get 429 quota_exceeded with resets_at, until it resets. If your plan includes overage, calls keep working and the extra calls are charged per 1,000, at the price shown on the plan card.

Per minute limit

Each key has its own per minute limit, set by your plan. Go over it and you get 429 rate_limited with a Retry-After header saying how many seconds to wait. Answers also carry X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining.

See your usage

The developer dashboard shows Allowance used for the current period, the date it resets, and a chart of Calls in the last 30 days (live and test keys together, by day in UTC).

Change plan

On the dashboard, find Go live (or Change plan if you already pay) and choose the Choose button next to the plan you want. See billing and invoices.
