Calling the score
Points are called love, 15, 30, 40 and game, with the server's score first. Calling the score out loud before each serve is the simplest way to avoid arguments.
The calls
No points is love. The first point won is 15, the second 30, the third 40 and the fourth wins the game. If both pairs reach 40 it is deuce, called deuce 1, deuce 2 and deuce 3 with the star point.
Server first
The FIP rules spell out for golden point scoring that the server's score is called first, so 15-30 means the serving pair has one point and the receivers two. Calling the server's score first is the normal habit in every format.
In a tie-break
Tie-break points are called zero, 1, 2, 3 and so on, not 15 and 30. The first pair to seven points with a lead of two wins it.
Say it every point
With no umpire, the server calling the score before each serve keeps all four players together. A slip is easy to fix straight away and hard to fix three points later.
