Single-set matches
One set decides the match. It is not one of the FIP options, but the LTA sets one set as the minimum scoring for its Grade 5 Local Tour padel events, and many leagues and social events use it.
Was sich gegenüber einem Standardmatch ändert
Only one set is played, so there is no second or third set.
Die Regeln
One set is played. In a six-game set, six games with a lead of two win it, five-all goes on to 7 to 5, and a tie-break decides it at six-all. The winner of the set wins the match. The toss, serving order, changes of ends and time rules are the same as in any match. If the event uses a four-game set instead, the tie-break comes at four-all.
So läuft es ab
Use it where you need several matches per player in one session, for example in a compass draw. State the set length and deuce format on the draw. Leave a short gap between rounds for the warm-up.

Fragen
How long is a one-set padel match?
There is no fixed time: it depends on the players' level and the deuce format. It is always shorter than a best of three match.
