Short answers to the questions advertisers ask most.
Do I need a player account to advertise?
No. Advertiser accounts are separate, with their own sign-in. You can use the same email for both, but they are different accounts with different passwords.
Who can advertise on Rally & Roam?
Any business or organisation that follows the advertising policy, including clubs, coaches, places, brands, travel companies and event organisers. The person opening the account must be at least 18.
How quickly can my ad go live?
Most ads are reviewed within one working day. Ads that need evidence, restricted products and sponsored articles can take up to three working days.
What is the minimum I can spend?
Every campaign needs a budget of at least £5. The lowest bids are £9 per thousand impressions and £0.45 per click, and a promoted listing costs £3 a day.
When will I be charged?
When your unbilled spend reaches your billing threshold, which starts at £25, or on the last day of the month, whichever comes first. See billing.
Can I set a limit on what I spend?
Yes. Set an account spending limit and a budget for each campaign. We never charge beyond your account spending limit.
Is VAT added?
We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to your invoices.
Am I charged for rejected ads?
No. You only pay for ads that were approved and delivered.
Do you use cookies to track people for ads?
No. Ads are chosen from the page and the request, such as the destination, language, playing level and device. We use no tracking cookies for ads. See targeting.
Can I upload a customer list?
No. We do not offer customer list or lookalike targeting.
Will I see who clicked my ad?
No. Reports show totals and breakdowns by day, placement, country and device, never individual people.
How do you count conversions?
A conversion is a booking, membership or shop order made on Rally & Roam within 7 days of a click on your ad. We count them ourselves, with no code on your website. See measurement.
Are bots counted?
No. Known crawlers and automated traffic are left out before anything is counted or charged.
Can I promote my club in search results?
Yes. A promoted listing puts your own club, coach profile or place at the top of matching search results, labelled "Promoted" or "Featured", for a day rate. It never changes your rating or reviews.
Do you accept video ads?
Not at the moment. All formats use still images.
Can I advertise alcohol?
Only with approval, only for adults, never on pages about junior padel, and only if the ad meets the CAP Code rules for alcohol. Gambling ads are not accepted at all. See the advertising policy.
