This schedule sets out how long we keep each kind of information and what happens to it at the end. Where a period is set in our systems, it runs automatically. Where there is no set period, we say so plainly and tell you how to remove the information yourself. Our privacy policy explains why we hold it.

Backups

We back up the platform every night and test that we can restore it every week. Backups are kept as follows, then deleted:

every backup for 7 days;
one backup a day for up to 16 days;
one backup a week for 8 weeks;
one backup a month for 4 months;
one backup a year for 2 years.

Information you delete can remain in backups until they expire. We do not restore it from a backup except to recover the platform from a fault.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings after confirming your password. We sign you out everywhere and email you to confirm, then delete the account 14 days later; we remind you two days before. Signing in during those 14 days keeps the account. Download your data first if you want a copy. When the 14 days end we:

delete your profile, level history, reviews, favourites, trips you own, trip comments, concierge conversations, fare alerts, games, partner requests, group memberships, messages, blocks, follows, reports you made, job listings, notifications, merch designs, saved baskets, points history, sessions, app sign-ins, linked Google or Apple sign-in, push notification tokens and passkeys;
delete your videos, their posters and highlight clips, and your agreements to share court recordings;
cancel any active membership and your newsletter subscription;
anonymise your account record and keep the financial records described above.

You can download a copy of everything we hold about you at any time from Settings. The file is made straight away.
