Rule book, shots and drills endpoints
Every developer plan, the sandbox included, can read our padel rule book, shots library and drills in any of the site's languages.
In short
The learning endpoints give your app our padel rule book, shots library and drills. Every developer plan opens them, including the free sandbox.
The endpoints
Endpoint, What it returns GET /rules, Every rule page: slug, title, summary, group, level and a link to our page GET /rules/{slug}, One rule in full GET /shots, Every shot in the shots library GET /shots/{slug}, One shot in full GET /drills, Drills, which you can filter by focus and level
The full parameters and answer shapes are in the Endpoints section of the Developers page and in the OpenAPI file.
Languages
Add locale to any of these calls to get the text in one of the site's languages, for example ?locale=es for Spanish. Without it you get British English (en_GB). Each item's link points to our page in the same language.
Whose words they are
The text is written by us in our own words, never copied from the federation's rules. Rule answers also include a source link to the official FIP rules, so your users can check the original.
Using them
Send your key as usual with Authorization: Bearer pk_test_... or pk_live_.... Learning calls count against your monthly allowance and per minute limit like any other call, see plans and limits.
If a slug does not exist you get a 404 error. Check the slug against the list endpoint first.
