Return to the feet
Let the serve bounce, then send it low to the server's feet as they come forward, or lob it over the pair at the net.
When to play it
Low and slow to the feet of the server coming in, so they volley upwards. A lob over the net player when the serving pair crowd the net. Down the middle when you are unsure: it causes doubt between them.
How to play it
Stand a step behind the service line, ready to move back for the glass. Short backswing, contact in front, keep the ball low over the net. Recover to your defensive position straight after.
Common mistakes
Trying to hit winners off the serve. Standing too close and getting jammed by a ball off the side glass. Volleying the serve, which is not allowed.

Is the resto legal in padel?
Legal under Rule 8.1: you must let the serve bounce in your box and play it before it bounces a second time. The return is good when it lands in the opponents' court, directly or off your own walls (Rule 14.1b).
