Hindrance and interference
Putting off an opponent while they play the ball loses the point if it is deliberate, and replays it if it is an accident. A second accident by the same pair loses the point.
Deliberate
Shouting, stamping, waving or moving to distract an opponent as they play the ball loses the point for the pair who did it.
Accidental
An involuntary hindrance, such as a ball falling from your pocket or a cap flying off, means the point is replayed. If the same pair causes a second involuntary interference, they lose the point.
Talking to your partner
Calls like "mine", "yours" or "switch" are part of the game and never a hindrance.
