What people build with the API, and the endpoints each needs. Every example uses data we really hold; nothing here depends on data we would have to invent.

A padel trip planner

Help travellers choose where to play and plan their days.

GET /destinations for where to go, with taglines in their language.
GET /itinerary for a day-by-day plan: a club each day, coaches and events during the stay.
GET /clubs?destination=... and GET /clubs/{slug} for the details.
GET /events?from=...&to=... for camps and tournaments on during the trip.

A hotel or resort booking page

Show guests free courts nearby and book for them.

GET /clubs?lat=...&lng=...&bookable=1 for clubs near the hotel that take bookings.
GET /clubs/{slug}/availability?date=... for free times and prices.
POST /bookings to book for a named guest. The guest pays us directly by email link; you see the commission on the booking. Webhooks tell you when it is confirmed.

Booking needs a plan that includes the bookings group, or a partner account.

A coaching or training app

GET /rules and GET /rules/{slug} for the rule book in our own words, with court diagram data and a link to the official FIP rules.
GET /shots/{slug} for how to play each shot and its linked drills.
GET /drills?focus=...&level=... for practice sessions that suit a player.
GET /coaches?level=...&language=... to suggest a coach.

A club finder or map

GET /clubs with q, destination or a point and radius.
Show name, address, courts_count and opening_hours, with the attribution notices. Clubs from OpenStreetMap need its credit, and a database you publish from them must be offered under the ODbL. See Open data and attribution.

An AI assistant

Connect the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent and the assistant can answer "Where can I play in Lisbon next weekend, and what is a bandeja?" with real clubs and our rule book, credits included.

What the API does not do

Take payment from you or your guests: guests pay us directly.
Serve photos, weather, reviews' text or travel guide text: we only serve data we may pass on. See Open data and attribution.
Let you change clubs, coaches or events: those are managed by their owners on Rally & Roam.
