These terms apply when you book a court, a lesson or lesson package, an event, camp or course, or a club membership through Rally & Roam. They sit alongside our terms of use. The listing and the checkout always show the price, what is included and the cancellation policy before you pay.

Who your contract is with

Your contract for the court, lesson or event is with the club, coach or event operator who provides it. We run the platform, take the booking and collect payment on their behalf through Stripe, and pass the money on to them less our fee. The club, coach or operator is responsible for providing what you booked, for the safety of their venue and sessions, and for their own house rules.

Some bookings include a service fee charged by us, shown separately at checkout. Premium members do not pay the court service fee.

Making a booking

A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation on screen and by email. While you pay, we hold the slot for you for 10 minutes.
Some clubs confirm bookings themselves. In that case your booking is a request until the club accepts it, and you are not charged if it is declined or expires.
If you book for other players, you can split the cost and each player pays their share by link. You remain responsible for the booking if others do not pay.

Paying

You pay by card through Stripe, with wallet credit, with a gift card or with Rally Points where offered. Prices include VAT where it applies.

Deposits

Some clubs and coaches take a deposit when you book. The rest is charged automatically to the card you used, 48 hours before the start time. If that payment fails, we try again up to three times, six hours apart, and let you know. If it still fails, the club or coach will ask you to pay the balance when you arrive.

Cancelling a booking

You can cancel from your bookings page. What you get back depends on the cancellation policy shown on the listing:

Policy	Cancel 24 hours or more before the start	Cancel less than 24 hours before
Flexible (most courts and lessons)	Full refund	50% refund
Club or moderate (bookings made by a club for you, recurring bookings, and events)	50% refund	50% refund

Bookings cannot be cancelled online once the start time has passed. Contact the club or coach.
Places on events, camps and courses are cancelled from the event page, under the policy shown for that event.
Refunds go back to your card, or to your Rally & Roam wallet if you prefer, which is instant. Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 working days to appear.
If you paid partly with a gift card, that part goes back onto the gift card. A lesson from a package is only returned to the package on a full refund.

No-shows and lateness

If you do not turn up, or arrive after your slot has started, you are not entitled to a refund and you still owe any unpaid balance. Please cancel as early as you can so someone else can play. In member games, players who do not turn up may see their reliability score go down.

If the club, coach or operator cancels

If your booking is cancelled by the club, coach or operator, or they cannot provide it (for example because a court is closed or a coach is ill), you get a full refund, including any service fee. If bad weather affects an outdoor court, the club's own weather policy applies; we will help you contact them.

Lesson packages and club memberships

Lesson packages are bought from a coach and used for that coach's lessons. Unused lessons are refunded by the coach on request within 14 days of purchase, and after that in line with the coach's terms.
Club memberships renew automatically on the card you used until you cancel. When you cancel, the membership stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.

Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for two years from purchase and can be used for bookings on Rally & Roam. Club gift vouchers can only be used at the club that issued them. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

Your statutory rights

Bookings for leisure services on a specific date, such as a court or lesson, are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations. The cancellation policies above apply instead. This does not affect your rights if the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

Problems on the day

Raise any problem with the club, coach or operator straight away so they can put it right. If that does not work, contact us through the Help centre within 14 days and we will help. See refunds and cancellations and complaints.
