Mesh, posts, gaps, lights and the ceiling
After the bounce the mesh, frames and posts are part of the wall. Anything above or outside the court is not: a shot that touches the ceiling or lights before bouncing in their court is lost, one that bounces first and then hits them is a winner.
Mesh and frames
In a rally the mesh and the metal frames around the glass count as wall: fine after the bounce on the floor, out before it. They do not bounce the ball back like glass does. Mesh kills the pace and frames send the ball anywhere.
Through the mesh
If a ball bounces in their court and then goes out through a hole in the mesh, the pair who hit it win the point.
Ceilings, lights and beams
Indoors, the ceiling, lights, beams and anything hanging over the court are not part of the court. A shot that touches one of them before bouncing in the other court loses the point. A ball that bounces correctly in their court and then hits the ceiling or lights is a winner.
Gaps at the sides
A ball that bounces in their court and leaves through an opening can be chased if outside play is allowed; otherwise it is a winner. The vertical post between two door openings, above 92 cm, is a neutral zone any player may touch or hold when outside play is allowed.
