Set up an authenticator app

An authenticator app on your phone shows a new 6 digit code every 30 seconds. Once it is set up, signing in asks for that code as well as your password. It is the strongest second step we offer, and setup takes about a minute.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings, Security. 2. Under Authenticator app, choose Turn on two-factor sign-in. 3. Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password. Cannot scan it? Choose Cannot scan it? Type this key instead and type the key into the app. 4. Enter the 6 digit code the app shows. 5. Save your recovery codes. We show them once. See recovery codes.

We email you to confirm that two-factor sign-in is on. If a code is refused, check the time on your phone is set automatically and enter the newest code.

Signing in

After your password, open the app and enter the code for Rally & Roam. Each code works once. Lost your phone? Choose Lost your phone? Use a recovery code.

Coaches, clubs and admins

Coaches, club owners, club staff and admins may need an authenticator app before they can open their workspace. The Security page shows Required when it applies to you.

Moving to a new phone or turning it off

1. Open Settings, Security. 2. Choose Turn off, enter your password and confirm. 3. Turn it on again and scan the new QR code with your new phone.

When it is off, your recovery codes stop working and we email you. If your account must use two-factor sign-in, your workspace stays closed until you set it up again.
