Slice serve
A serve with backspin and a little sidespin that skids low off the floor and the side glass, so the receiver has to dig the ball up.
Kiedy to grać
As your stock serve once the flat serve is reliable. Against receivers who like a high ball to attack. Into the side glass on the forehand side to pull the receiver wide.
Jak to zagrać
Open the racket face slightly and swing from high to low under the outside of the ball. Contact a little to the side of your body, below the waist. Aim to bounce near the service line so it skids into the side glass.
Typowe błędy
Cutting so hard the ball floats long or into the net. Contact above the waist while trying to brush the ball.

Legal under Rule 6 if contact stays at or below the waist. A slice that skids into the side glass after bouncing in the box is fine; one that touches the metal fence before the second bounce is a fault (Rule 7.1e).
