Rally & Roam

Formaty towarzyskie

Americano, Mexicano i ich wersje drużynowe i mieszane, Beat the Box, King of the Court oraz Up and Down.

Americano

A social format where you change partner every round, play short matches scored in rally points, and keep your own points total. The player with the most points at the end wins.

Team Americano

You enter as a pair and stay together all event; only the opponents change. Matches are scored in rally points as in an Americano, and the pair's total decides the standings.

Mixed Americano

An Americano where every pair has one woman and one man. Partners rotate within that rule, and everyone keeps their own points total.

Mexicano

Scored like an Americano, but after the first round players are paired by the live standings so matches stay close: first and fourth play second and third, and so on down the courts.

Team Mexicano

Fixed pairs play Mexicano style: after the first round, pairs are ranked by points and each round matches pairs with similar totals.

Mixicano (mixed Mexicano)

Mexicano with mixed pairs: every pair has one player from each side, usually one woman and one man, and new pairs are made from the standings after every round.

Beat the Box

Players are split into boxes of four, one per court. Over three rounds you partner each of the other three once; then the best player in each box moves up a box and the lowest moves down.

King of the Court

Courts are ranked from the top court down. After every round the winners move up a court and the losers move down; the aim is to reach and hold the top court.

Up and Down

A ladder of courts: after each round winners move up one court and losers move down one, with partners changing on the new court. Final court and points decide the standings.

Fixed-pair Up and Down

Up and Down for fixed pairs: you keep your partner all event, and after each round your pair moves up a court if it wins and down a court if it loses.
