We want everyone to be able to plan trips, book courts and play with Rally & Roam, whatever their ability or the technology they use. This statement explains how accessible the site is, what we know still needs work and how to tell us about a problem.

How we build for accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice, that means:

every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link at the top;
pages work with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack, with labelled buttons, form fields and images;
text and controls are designed to meet colour contrast standards, and you can choose the light or dark theme or follow your device;
animations are reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion;
you can zoom pages to 200% and use them on a phone without scrolling sideways;
the site is available in 13 languages, including right-to-left layout for Arabic;
our policies can be printed or saved as a PDF from your browser, with a print layout that leaves out menus.

How we test

We run automated accessibility tests (axe) against WCAG 2.2 A and AA on key pages, and Lighthouse accessibility checks. Automated tests cannot find every problem, which is why your reports matter.

What we know still needs work

Maps are visual. Clubs, coaches and places shown on a map are also listed in text on the same page.
Some photos and descriptions come from open data or from clubs and coaches, and may lack good descriptions.
Videos in our guides and podcast episodes do not all have captions or transcripts yet.
Video analysis results include charts and drawings on the video, which may not have a full text equivalent yet.
The human check that sometimes appears (Cloudflare Turnstile) is run by Cloudflare. It usually needs no action, but if it does not work for you, tell us.
Some partner sites we link to, such as booking pages run by others, are outside our control.

Tell us about a problem

Tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five working days.

If you are not happy with our response, you can follow our complaints process, or contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

About this statement

We review this statement whenever we make significant changes to the site, and at least once a year. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
