This policy explains which data the Rally & Roam API and MCP server return, who it comes from, and what you must do to use it. It is part of our API terms. Our data sources and credits page covers the data on our own website, which includes some sources we do not pass on.

How each answer tells you

Every item in every answer carries sources, saying which source each field came from, and attribution, with the name to credit, the licence, a link to it, a notice to show and the fields it covers. You must keep those credits with the data, as below.

The sources we pass on

Source key	What it is	Licence
`rally_and_roam`	Our own data: bookings and availability, reviews and ratings, level ratings, destinations and events we write, the rule book, shots and drills, and itineraries built from them	Licensed to you under the API terms
`club`	Details a club gave us when it joined or claimed its listing	Licensed to you under the API terms
`coach`	Details a coach gave us for their profile	Licensed to you under the API terms
`openstreetmap`	Clubs mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors	Open Database Licence 1.0
`overture`	Places from the Overture Maps Foundation	CDLA Permissive 2.0
`foursquare`	Places from Foursquare OS Places	Apache License 2.0
`comando-colombia`	The 2026 Colombia padel club census by Comando Construcciones SAS	CC BY 4.0

Your obligations

For every source

Wherever you show data to people, show the notice from each attribution entry next to the data, or on a page linked clearly from it. Keep the names and licence titles as written, and link to the licence where the notice includes one.

Credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" and say the data is available under the Open Database Licence.
The ODbL is share-alike for databases. If you publicly use or publish a database you derive from OpenStreetMap fields, for example a downloadable list of clubs, you must offer that derived database under the ODbL as well, or offer the changes you made in a machine-readable form.
Showing the data in your product, for example on a map or in a list, is a "produced work": it needs the credit, but the product itself does not have to be under the ODbL.
Because we pass OpenStreetMap data on ourselves, we offer the clubs we list from OpenStreetMap as a free download under the ODbL at /open-data/clubs-odbl.csv.

Overture Maps (CDLA Permissive 2.0)

Credit the Overture Maps Foundation. You may use, change and share the data, including commercially. If you share the data itself, include the licence text or a link to it.

Foursquare OS Places (Apache License 2.0)

Keep the notice "© Foursquare Labs, Inc." and a copy of, or link to, the licence with any copy of the data you share. Say if you changed the data.

Comando Construcciones SAS (CC BY 4.0)

Credit "Comando Construcciones SAS, Estudio de mercado de clubes de pádel en Colombia 2026" with a link to the licence, and say if you changed the data.

Rally & Roam, club and coach data

You may show this data in your product and keep copies for up to 30 days to make it faster. You may not resell it, publish it as a dataset, or use it after your access ends, except copies you need to keep by law, such as records of bookings.

What we never pass on

To keep every answer safe to use, the API and MCP server never return:

text from Wikivoyage, which is under a share-alike licence we do not pass on;
descriptions copied from club websites, which belong to the clubs;
photos from Wikimedia Commons, Mapillary or anywhere else. Each Commons photo has its own author and licence, which we show with it on our own pages. If you want photos, link to our club page (the url on every club);
weather and climate data, data from Google, Padel API or any paid source;
the text of reviews, or personal information about players.

Accuracy

Open data is maintained by others and can be out of date or wrong. We pass it on as we receive it and credit it so you can tell where it came from. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will pass corrections on where we can.
